The workshop begins its activity in 1970.
It’s director and founder is Professor Rafael Cerrito. At the present teachers Ariel Martinez Achina , Martin Breccia and Sergio Diaz accompany Cerrito in his labor.
Is a free art workshop where each teacher focuses on pupil’s requests and guide them in order to get advances. Different techniques are used: Oil, Acrylic, Chalk pastel, Oil pastel, Watercolor and Drawing.
At the beginning pupils learn all the techniques and then they choose the best for working. Teachers can afford the different kind of techniques, although they specialize only in one or two: Rafael Cerrito in chalk pastel, watercolor and oil; Ariel Martinez Achina in drawing, oil and acrylic, Martin Breccia in mixed media, watercolor and acrylic and Sergio Diaz in oil work with spatula.
About thematic, Cerrito prefers working with Landscapes painting, Still life and Contemporary languages; Martinez Achina with Realism, Human figure and Still life while Breccia prefers Portrait and Human figure. Sergio Diaz themes represent the typical landscapes from Cordoba.
Classes are given once a week and last three hours. Pupils can take two or three weekly classes with different teachers, having in this case a discount on their monthly payment. Each group has by turn from six to eight pupils. More advanced pupils are promoted by the Gallery into professional activities such as taking part in shows and fairs.

Classes have a cost of $100 (one hundred pesos) by month.
